Vision and Mission
Vision
Blind and partially sighted persons live productive, inclusive, self-reliant, and dignified lives, fully enjoying their human rights. They are recognized as valued contributors to society and empowered to shape their own futures.
Mission
- Empower persons with visual impairment by raising awareness, advocating for their rights, building their capacity, and providing need-based support.
- Through strategic interventions, achieve an inclusive environment where persons with visual impairments are fully recognized and their living conditions are improved.
- Establish and influence the leadership and mechanism of NAB to engage with policymakers, communities, and stakeholders to ensure that persons with visual impairment equally participate in the decision-making process and all aspects of life.
Goals
Our goal is to organize and empower persons with visual impairments for their sustained well-being, meaningful participation, and leadership in society. In alignment with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), NAB will work to advance systemic changes, advocating for inclusive policies, accessible services, and sustainable programs that ensure lasting improvements in the lives of persons with visual impairment.
