- Secured Government Job Reservations: Successfully advocated for a 5% reservation in government jobs for persons with disabilities since 2060 B.S., leading to the employment of over 600 blind and partially sighted individuals as government teachers.
- Institutionalized Budget for Disability Programs Ensured regular budget allocation for disability programs in Nepal’s Federal Red Book, securing government support for disability-inclusive policies and initiatives.
- Advancing Accessibility in Banking and Currency: Advocated for disability-inclusive banking under Nepal Rastra Bank’s 2079 Integrated Guideline, leading to accessible ATMs, mobile banking, and priority services; also facilitated the introduction of tactile symbols on Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 banknotes for the first time.
- Promoting Digital and Physical Accessibility: Installed audio guidance and sound clues at NAB's central office, pioneering accessible office spaces in Nepal; developed Nepali text-to-speech (TTS) and optical character recognition (OCR) software, enhancing digital accessibility.
- Strong Organizational Infrastructure Owns 18 buildings nationwide, including three in Kathmandu, and has achieved 30% self-sustainability, generating its own income for operational costs.
- Education and Training for Blind Youths Established Nepal’s first school for children with deaf blindness, distributed 12,000 Braille textbooks, provided 300 university scholarships, and trained over 300 blind and partially sighted youths in computer skills.
- Health and Rehabilitation Support: Provided eye checkups for over 60,000 individuals, restored vision for over 10,000 people through free cataract surgery, and delivered basic rehabilitation services to over 7,000 blind and partially sighted individuals.
- Economic Empowerment Initiatives: Trained over 5,000 blind and partially sighted adults in vocational skills, supported 1,500 trainees in starting their own businesses, and helped 104 graduates secure permanent government teaching jobs through preparatory classes.
- Legal and Policy Advocacy: Instrumental in the promulgation of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act (2017), the endorsement of the National Policy on Persons with Disabilities (2023), and contribution to the ratification of the UNCRPD.
- Pioneering Sports and Cultural Inclusion: initiated blind cricket and football matches in Nepal and enabled over 60 blind and partially sighted individuals to improve their livelihoods through music training courses.
