Position Title: Enumerators
Duty Station: Kathmandu, Nuwakot, Rasuwa and Dhading with frequent visits to flood affected areas
Contract Type: Short-term contract (Maximum duration of two months), limited to NAB working days only.
Reports to: Inclusive Humanitarian Lead
Salary: NPR 50,000 (monthly) and daily travel allowances, as per need.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting Needs Assessment:
- Collect quantitative data of flood affected person with disabilities from respective ward offices and local OPDs.
- Collect qualitative data of the person with disabilities based on the quantitative data in the standard format developed by NAB.
Psychosocial counselling support:
- Provide on-site immediate psychosocial support to people with disabilities and their families affected by the floods while conducting needs assessment.
Referral and Linkage to Services:
- Identify available services and resources within the affected areas.
- Facilitate referrals for people with disabilities and their families to appropriate services.
Coordination with Local Stakeholders:
- Liaise with local authorities, NGOs, OPDs and community organizations to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Participate in local-level coordination meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+2 completed or is currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Science, Development Studies, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in community mobilization, community mapping, social work, or development projects is preferred.
- Prior experience working in emergency-response intervention is strongly preferred.
- Better understanding of psychosocial counselling and disability inclusion will be an added advantage.
- Preferred Competencies
- Experience of collecting data using Kobo or other open-source data collection and visualization platform.
- Knowledge of local languages and sign language skills are an added advantage.
- Having motorcycle and license is preferrable.
