Call for Roster of Experts
The Nepal Association of the Blind (NAB), a national umbrella organization advocating for the rights and inclusion of blind and partially sighted individuals in Nepal, is seeking to establish a roster of qualified experts to support its initiatives and programs. This call is open to professionals with proven expertise in relevant fields who share our commitment to advancing disability inclusion.
Focus Areas
We are seeking experts in the following areas:
1. Organizational Development
- Strategic planning and policy development
- Governance and institutional strengthening
2. Capacity Building
- Leadership training
- Proposal writing and report writing training
- Fundraising training
- ICT and database management training
- Advocacy training
- O&M life skill training
- Counselling
- Team building and motivational programs
3. Assistive Technology
- Training on assistive devices and technologies
- Development of accessible digital content
4. Advocacy and Inclusion
- Disability rights advocacy and policy support
- Awareness campaigns and training
5. Education and Skills Development
- Inclusive education and curriculum design
- Life skills and professional development
- Vocational, marketing and entrepreneurship training
6. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
- Project design and impact assessment
- Research and data analysis
Eligibility Criteria
- Proven expertise in one or more of the above-mentioned areas.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working with organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) or related sectors.
- Have a strong understanding of disability rights, inclusion, and accessibility.
- Familiarity with the social and economic context of Nepal is preferred.
Required Documents
Interested professionals are required to submit the following:
- Expression of Interest (EoI): A cover letter outlining areas of expertise, relevant experience, cost of services (per hour or day), and motivation for joining the roster.
- Updated CV: Highlighting qualifications, expertise, and prior experience in similar roles.
- Accessibility and Support Needs: Specify any reasonable accommodation, accessibility requirements, or other support needed to perform your role effectively.
- Testimony of Similar Work: Examples, references, or documentation of prior relevant work (e.g., reports, training manuals, publications).
